Job Summary: The Pro Shop Attendant at Bent Oak Golf Club plays a pivotal role in ensuring a memorable experience for our members and guests. This position combines customer service, sales, and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the pro shop and enhance the overall golfing experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

    • Greet members and guests warmly and assist them with inquiries, tee times, and equipment rentals.
    • Provide information about club facilities, services, and promotions.
    • Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

Retail Sales:

    • Assist customers in selecting golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
    • Process sales transactions accurately using the club’s POS system.
    • Maintain inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize merchandise displays.

Tee Time Management:

    • Schedule and manage tee times for members and guests.
    • Ensure efficient utilization of golf course resources to maximize revenue.

Course Operations Support:

    • Assist with on-course operations as needed, such as organizing tournaments or events.
    • Monitor pace of play and assist in managing golf course traffic to ensure an enjoyable experience for all players.
Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of golf and golf equipment is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Will provide training to an interested candidate.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the pro shop and golf course.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Title: Maintenance Crew
Location: Bent Oak Golf Club
Job Summary: The Maintenance Crew at Bent Oak Golf Club plays a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition and appearance of our golf course and facilities. This team ensures that our grounds are consistently well-groomed, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:

Course Maintenance:

    • Mowing greens, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas.
    • Raking and maintaining sand traps (bunkers).
    • Operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.

Irrigation System Management:

    • Monitoring and adjusting irrigation systems to ensure optimal turf health and water conservation.
    • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on irrigation equipment.

Landscape Maintenance:

    • Pruning trees, shrubs, and other landscape features.
    • Planting flowers, trees, and other vegetation as directed by the grounds superintendent.

Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the grounds superintendent promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred but not required. Will train.
  • Knowledge of turf care equipment and irrigation systems.
  • Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
